Dr Peter Horlock

Laboratory Director

Dr Peter Horlock gained his PhD from Leeds University in Biochemistry. Always having an interest in antibodies, he has worked for companies such as Unilever and GSK in development roles before moving into a senior manufacturing role with Fujifilm dyosynth (formerly Avecia) in novel therapeutic drug manufacture. With all these experiences combined, Peter then became the Technical Operation Director at Yorktest driving the quality of the product and personally reviewing thousands of client results over the last 9 years.

Peter and his laboratory team has developed a high quality food sensitivity test, which he is proud to bring to market due to its robust and reproducible nature.

Dr Graham Johnson

Medical Director

Dr Graham Johnson qualified as a doctor from University College London. He subsequently served in the Royal Navy, which included a 3 year attachment to 42 Commando Royal Marines, after gaining the coveted green beret.

He subsequently qualified as a General Practitioner and is currently a partner in an NHS GP Surgery as well as a Private Clinic.

Dr Johnson's specialism and experience in laboratory testing came as the Medical Director for one of the UKs leading private blood test providers. A role where Dr Johnson has personally reviewed and provided commentary on thousands of test results over the past 5 years.

Dr Johnson has played a key role in the recent innovation of food sensitivity testing, working alongside Biochemists, Nutritionists and other specialists to develop the laboratory.

Sheila Illingworth

Sheila is a CHNC registered Nutritional Therapist and has conducted thousands of consultations with clients who have taken a food intolerance test. As a former International Athlete & Lecturer at The Institute for Optimum Nutrition, Sheila is a leading specialist in nutrition and health.

Ed Tooley - Performance Nutritionist

Ed is one of Europe’s leading Performance Nutritionists. He has worked with Premier League Football Teams, International Rugby Teams, Olympic Athletes and has over a decade of experience working in elite sport.

Ed is a an advocate of food sensitivity testing, and has used it with many professional athletes as a tool to help optimise their diet.
